Din during budget speech in Pakistan
Islamabad: During the Budget speech in the national assembly of Pakistan, opposition chanted slogans, presented bread to the Finance Minister of Pakistan and also threw bangles.
Opposition parties including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam, Peoples’ Party Sher Pao and others raised slogans when finance minister Abdul Hafeez sheikh started budget speech in the national assembly, but he continued his speech amid uproar.
Secretary Information PML-N Ahsan Iqbal presented ‘token bread’ to Abdul Hafeez Sheikh while PML-N’s another figure Tehmina Daultana threw bangles on him.
The opposition parties raised slogan like “American slavery intolerable, and freedom freedom”.
At the other hand, government alliance parties started clapping during the budget.
The national assembly speaker Fahmida Mirza tried to keep opposition silent but failed.
